Story about Chin-tea Founder
My name is Franco Li, and I am the founder of Chin-Tea Studio, a brand dedicated to sharing the art and tradition of premium Pu’er tea.
Born in Xishuangbanna, Yunnan—the heartland of Pu’er tea—I was immersed in tea culture from an early age. Under my grandfather’s guidance, I learned the intricacies of tea cultivation and developed a profound appreciation for its craftsmanship. By the age of 15, I had begun mastering the production process, deepening both my expertise and passion for Pu’er.
In 2013, I relocated to Toronto, Canada, bringing with me the heritage of Yunnan’s tea traditions. Recognizing a growing interest in authentic tea experiences, I established Chin-Tea in 2020 to connect enthusiasts with the depth and nuance of Chinese tea. Through curated tastings and educational initiatives, my goal is to foster a global community that values quality, tradition, and the stories behind every leaf.
At Chin-Tea, we go beyond commerce—we celebrate a legacy. I invite you to explore this journey with us.
